Have you ever done something and said, “This is the greatest thing ever!” – then you promised you’d always do it …forever. Are you still doing it?

So many times we learn things throughout our lives and as time goes on, and we continue to learn more and more, people often forget the things that were so important to them. It would be nice to have a reminder, wouldn’t it? In fact, what if you not only had a reminder that helped you remember, but in doing it you helped others remember, that would be pretty good yes? And then, what if you added in just a bit of extra self-esteem, feeling good about what you did and about who you are, that would be amazingly awesome right?!

Wow! Yesterday was the Open House at the healing centre where I have my office – and it was amazing. Truly “Law of Attraction” in action!

I’ve been in “business” for almost 2 decades (registered and began my first business at age 19) and everything I’ve ever experienced and seen and learned about business told me in that the event would be a minimal success at best …nope. In fact, it was totally phenomenal how many people we had attend the event – snacks, free consultations, health talks every 15 minutes – people came and stayed the whole afternoon. All the practitioners and staff of the clinic and joint college are followers of the Law of Attraction concepts and they were all putting energy out to have people come and be busy all day – and that’s exactly what we had! Boo-ya!

I am so pleased and filled with joy after such an awesome experience. The buzz now is about having another one in a few months with new & different 15 minute presentations from all of the 14 healing practitioners we have at the centre …I can hardly wait!

Sometimes it seems there is just so much to do – so many things you want to have done right now. I’ll acknowledge there is the other side – people who say they wish their business was back in the start-up stages – where things weren’t always moving so quickly. I gotta say …uhm – no. That’s not me.

I truly love what I do – and when all these lists are finished and done, the procedures and processes all in place and running smoothly, that’s when I’ll simply be doing the stuff I love. That’s it. Not the cutting and building and gluing to get everything together just right to give to the world – rather, all that will be complete.

However, right now I’m still getting it all together and going …and like a kid before Christmas I’m just too excited to wait. Every month I see growth, change and movement toward my ultimate dreams …but I really, really want it right now. (*sigh*) But, until all these wonders and joys come to exist in full living reality I just keep pushing and working and moving on …getting things done at each step on the path towards a truly wonderful life. And occasionally I experience that all too universal feeling like it just seems as if there’s sooooooo much “to do” between here and there.

There is one thing I’m certain of when it comes to my job – I LOVE IT!

We just finished going through the second weekend of the 6 weekend NLP Practitioner Certification Program I’m teaching and it was awesome! The people I attract to my courses are always so fantastic and fun to work with – often challenging me and making me look at my own understanding of NLP in different ways. It’s so true that you really learn from the act of teaching.

How was my weekend as I re-live it now in my mind? Some words I might use to describe it would include Fun, Fantastic, Phenomenal, Fabulous, Amazing, Awesome, Terrific, Joyous, Wonderful, Great, did I say Awesome and Amazing?, etc, etc, etc. The interesting thing is, those are all the same feelings I get when I coach people, teach business seminars, facilitate public workshops – any time I do NLP in any form, fashion or manner I always end up feeling appreciative of my life the people in it.

How was your weekend? Do you Love your job too?

It’s been a long time since I’ve updated my blog – and let me tell ya, that time was filled with OMG experiences. Since the last time I was able to get to blogging I’ve done newspaper interviews (well, one anyway), started the 2008 NLP Prac course, been working on my Verbal Self Defense book, done countless workshops and seminars, wrote a few articles, seen lots of new clients, and been loving it the entire time! Oh, plus I moved into a new townhouse from an apartment – oh yeah!

As it stands however, there have been a lot of little things that recently entered my awareness that I keep thinking, “That’s something I should blog about!” Finally, I decided to get the old pages of my NLP thoughts and awarenesses back in order and start putting it out there again.

So …tune in again soon for more wacky and wonderous awarenesses from the mind o’ Daniel…
