I’m not sure about all the people who hype the idea of “Google Adsense” and the hundreds of dollars a day it can generate people …it does dilly-squat for me.

I understand the huge websites that generate thousands of people a day traffic – oh yeah, they probably make a mint …from my perspective. However, they are usually some giant organization that has enormous overhead expenses so the few hundred dollars a day they get from adsense wouldn’t even cover their monthly rent, let alone the wages of all the employees.

For the rest of us – adsense is a nice daydream, similar to the, “What would I do if I won the lottery?” dream. I like the idea of visitors to my site having the option to click through to something else that interests them on the same topic as what they came to my site to find …but I sure don’t make any money from it. To me, it’s just an added value I give my visitors.

Dacia Moss, Integrative Energy HealerEveryone has days where the world just seems dark and colorless. Have you ever wondered what helps relieve that? Well let me tell you, her name is Dacia Moss (pronounced ‘day-sha’winking and she’s an Integrative Energy Healing Practitioner. And she is phenomenal!

I went to Dacia one day for a treatment at the Alembic Healing Arts Centre in Victoria and wow – it made such an amazing difference. By the time she was done I felt so balanced in both mind and body. Plus …the world was so vivid and bright and full of colors – and I was filled with such spectacular energy; I felt like I could do anything.

James Christian, HerbalistBC is known all over Canada for it’s “special” herbs …but what about something a little more legal? I mean, who really wants to buy their “medicine” from a junkie on some street corner?

James Christian at the Alembic Healing Arts Centre in Victoria is a real herbalist – and he’s amazing! I went to see him with a cough that had been lingering for almost two months (my doctor just kept telling me to use cough syrup and it would eventually go away) and it was starting to effect my business – it’s difficult to counsel people or facilitate workshops when you keep hacking and losing your voice. So James gave me a mixture that cleared it up in less than a week. Oh yeah baby! I was so completely filled joy – it was awesome! James …you rock dude.

Reuven Freesman, Acupuncture & Total Chinese MedicineI’m talking about acupuncture here. I had the opportunity to be treated by an amazing acupuncturist (and all round great guy!), Reuven! Hoo-ray for Reuven!

It was awesome – he totally blew my mind with how easily and effortlessly he diagnosed my stomach problem (which I had not even mentioned during the first consultation). I just went in to get a balancing treatment and, boo-ya, he started fixing my all around. I love it!

Anyone in Victoria who is interested in finding themselves an Acupuncturist, I totally recommend checking out Reuven Freesman at the Alembic Healing Arts Centre. He offers a special new six-week REBOOT package to help create total health and wholeness. In my opinion – definitely worth it!

Judy WrightThat’s right – you heard me y’all! Judy Wright, the amazing NLP trainer, counselor and guru has finally got her own website up and running! Boo-ya baby! (*you can’t see it but I’m doing the happy dance right now!*) She’s been soooooo busy with studying, teaching, counseling and making the world an all around better place that the website just took forever …but it’s finally up and operational.

That’s not even the best part …the best part is – she’s produced some CDs and if they’re half as phenomenal as she is, you gotta get’em! (Seriously. She really is that fantastic.)

Her website is… Gateways Counselling.

Her CDs are… “Serenity” & “Healing Moments”.

Jennifer Ursell, LaStone TherapistOkay – had my first full treatment of LaStone Therapy this afternoon and it was so phenomenal I just have to put in a shameless plug for the amazing practitioner who worked on me …Jennifer Ursell of the Alembic Healing Arts Centre in Victoria, BC, Canada. All I can say is – Fab-ulous!!!

Some of my colleagues have met her and now you can too …my accomplice in manifesting a positive life together – Jodie.

Check out her website:

If you want to follow our daily lives together you can see our family blog;

As the author of my own Blog I do have some freedom as to what I write – in my opinion. However, this blog is mostly dedicated to integrating NLP into my own daily life …and this is where the two collide.

Last week I was without a vehicle because my little green car broke down. After trying over and over, I finally accepted my inability to fix it and took the car to my local mechanic; Jimmy Eddie Repairs, here in Victoria, BC, Canada – they ROCK! (yes, it’s a shameless plug – but it’s true!). Jimmy went through the vehicle and soon concluded that the battery was dead, and after trying to charge it for a whole day discovered that it wouldn’t take a charge anymore.

This might not be a big deal except this battery was less than a year old. I bought it from a local Canadian Tire Store (the 3rd one in three years – a new one each year!). The first time in 2005 I threw out my receipt so there was no warranty …I was out of luck in 2006 – so I bought a new one. In 2007 the warranty was only a few weeks past expiration so …I was out of luck and had to buy a new one. This time however, I paid for the extra extended warranty (2 years this time).

So, when I took the MotoMaster Battery back to my local Canadian Tire Store did I get the “no questions asked, straight across exchange” which I was promised with my extended warranty? No …I was out of luck. Their “computer mechanic” said that the battery was still good and would be charged in 24 hours. Hmmmm…what luck that “thier” computer would say that.

And this is where my NLP training came in …specifically, state control. In my youth, I would have been so livid and angry I would have started screaming and swearing and freaking out. Instead, after exploring all the NLP language patterns I could use in the moment – I admitted defeat …they ripped me off …AGAIN! So, did I get down on myself for being “stupid” and buying from the deceitful, dishonest people at Canadian Tire 3 years in a row? No …I was smarter than that. I found my center, balanced my mind, spoke calmly, clearly and professionally and told them in a very dignified way that they could take my old car battery and shove it …into their recycling place.

Now, for the best part… Jimmy, my mechanic, sold me a brand new battery $20 cheaper than the so called, “Low Price Guaranteed” MotoMaster Battery! Plus, I know Jimmy will back up what he sells me – he always has! That’s real manifestation in action my friend!

So, my little rant will end like this …using NLP to stay sane in the face of criminal intentions of people and businesses in this day and age is very beneficial. Less stress, less worry, better manifestation, plus – my car works again! Hoo-ray! (No thanks to the treacherous and fraudulent company policies and procedures of Canadian Tire and MotoMaster!)
