Okay … I was recently sent the link to a post on the Mental Floss Blog called The rebirth of the book? and it showed a little You Tube video about new develops that are being worked on about finding way to incorporate iphone in books! I love the idea! I’ve posted a copy of the video below — and as I watched it, all I could picture was my new verbal self defense book where the book would be a stand-alone version giving the reader the information, but with the iphone in place they could see video demonstrations or a interactive flash game where they could test their skills as they’re learning them!

BTW, for anyone who is more interested in searching Google for more of this stuff, it’s called Transmedia Storytelling … which is defined by Wikipedia as storytelling across multiple forms of media with each element making distinctive contributions to a viewer/user/player’s understanding of the story. Awwwwwwwwwwwesome!
